While the PlayStation Plus subscription offers access to the very latest gaming titles, including PS5 content for the higher tier subscriptions, the Xbox live game pass offers access to a huge EA gaming library packed with top quality games.At its top tier, the new PS Plus will offer more than 700 games for streaming or download (including streaming on PC), and the library will be "regularly refreshed". Overall, when it comes to the PlayStation and the Xbox offering, both are very similar and offer great options for accessing a huge variety of top-quality video games. With the PlayStation passes, not only are they tiered with different options, but you can choose to spread the cost over different times, which also makes it convenient to offer as a gift for a family member or friend who loves gaming too. ![]() However, with Xbox, the monthly price is fixed and there is no way to pay upfront. ![]() As you can see, you get roughly the same thing from both options for the amount you pay.
